| Steelers Eliminated | With Sunday’s 31-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens the Pittburgh Steelers fell to 7-8 and are officially eliminated from playoff contention. The way the went out summed up their whole season, however, they turned the ball over various times and coudn’t score points off of turn-overs. Quarterback ben Roethlisberger threw two interceptions. His lone touchdown came on a one-yard pass to tight-end Heath Miller just befor half-time. Then just when it looked like the steeler could make the game close Willie Parker fumbled the ball away at the two yard-line. The Steelers defense gave the offense a chance to stay in the game with two interceptions and one fumble recovery. Cornerback Bryant McFadded had one of the INTs and the fumble recovery. The Steelers other corner Deshea Townsend had the other INT. The Steeler had trouble getting pressure on McNair all day, the Steelers didn’t have any sacks on the game and that gave McNair the time he needed to make all the throws. Two of Steve McNair’s three touchdowns came on deep passes where Pro-Bowl safety Troy Polomalu was beat. Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »
